intertubercular plane in·ter·tu·ber·cu·lar plane (ĭn'tər-tu-bûr'kyə-lər, -tyu-)
An Addison's clinical plane passing horizontally through the iliac tubercles and usually cutting the fifth lumbar vertebra. Also called intertubercular line.
