ischemic hypoxia in Medicine

ischemic hypoxia n.
Tissue hypoxia resulting from slower circulation through the tissues so that oxygen tension in capillaries is less than normal, even though saturation, content, and tension in arteries are normal. Also called stagnant anoxia.
