kallikrein kal·li·kre·in (kāl'ĭ-krē'ĭn)
An enzyme present in blood plasma, lymph, urine, saliva, pancreatic juices, and other body fluids that catalyzes the proteolysis of bradykininogen to bradykinin. Also called kininogenase.
