keratinosome ke·rat·i·no·some (kə-rāt'n-ə-sōm', kěr'ə-tĭn'ə-)
A membrane-bound granule in the upper layers of the prickle cell layer of certain stratified squamous epithelia. Also called membrane-coating granule.
