Also called kombucha tea, kombucha mushroom tea. the fermented beverage, made by adding kombucha to sweetened tea.

Origin:
perhaps < Japanese kombu ‘seaweed’ + cha ‘tea’ (from a confusion with ‘kelp tea’)
