Krems

Gneixendorf is a little village on a high plateau of the Danube Valley about an hours walk from Krems.

Between Lenz and Krems I did not find either the rocks or the power of the stream much more formidable.

It is situated at the confluence of the Krems with the Danube.

In the fall of 1894 a young woman was on trial in Krems, Austria.

The Danube harbour of Krems is at the adjoining town of Stein (pop., 4299).
