Lafora, Gonzalo Rodriguez (1886–1971), Spanish neurologist.Early in his career Lafora served as a histopathologist at a government mental hospital in Washington. Later in Madrid he lectured in neuropathology and directed a laboratory for brain physiology. Hepublished experimental studies on the function of the corpus callosum and produced full-length works on mentally abnormal children and on neurosyphilis.
