leishmaniasis recidivans leishmaniasis re·cid·i·vans (rĭ-sĭd'ə-vənz)
n.
A cutaneous leishmaniasis caused by Leishmania tropica and characterized by a partially healing lesion, intense granuloma production, and development of lesions that produce granulomatous tissue that does not heal sometimes for many years. Also called lupoid leishmaniasis.
