An eye that has been exposed to light of relatively high intensity and has undergone adjustments of photochemical change and constriction of the pupil. Also called photopic eye.

Light-adapted eye is always a great word to know.
So is ort. Does it mean:
a screen or mat covered with a dark material for shielding a camera lens from excess light or glare.
