linear transformation

noun Mathematics.
a map from one vector space to a vector space having the same field of scalars, with the properties that the map of the sum of two vectors is the sum of the maps of the vectors and the map of a scalar times a vector equals the scalar times the map of the vector.
Also called linear function.

Linear transformation is always a great word to know.
So is graph. Does it mean:
a system of calculation based on the properties of numbers; the discussion of a problem by algebra consisting of calculus and its higher developments
a series of points as in forming a curve or surface, each of which represents a value of a given function, a network of lines connecting points
