lupus erythematosus profundus lupus erythematosus pro·fun·dus (prō-fŭn'dəs)
A chronic cutaneous form of lupus erythematosus giving rise to deep-seated, firm, rubbery nodules that sometimes become ulcerated, usually on the face.
