Mas·ter·son  (mās'tər-sən)  American frontier marshal and journalist. Famed for his exploits as an army scout, gambler, and law enforcer in towns such as Dodge City and Tombstone, he was later a sports writer for the New York Morning Telegraph (1902-1921). |
