  1. Any of the three branches of the arcuate artery supplying the three lateral toes and the lateral side of the second toe through the dorsal digital artery; dorsal metatarsal artery.

  2. Any of the four branches of the plantar arch that divide into the plantar digital arteries to supply the toes; plantar metatarsal artery.
