Morton's syndrome Mor·ton's syndrome (môr'tnz)
n.
Congenital shortening of the first metatarsal with pain between the heads of two or more of the metatarsals, usually caused by irritation of the nerve between the heads of the metatarsals. Also called Morton's neuralgia.
