mucous colitis

Medical Dictionary

mucous colitis n.
A disease of the mucous membrane of the colon, characterized by colicky pain, constipation or diarrhea, and the passage of mucous or slimy pseudomembranous shreds and patches. Also called myxomembranous colitis.
