musculotubal canal mus·cu·lo·tu·bal canal (mŭs'kyə-lō-tōō'bəl, -tyōō'-)
A canal beginning at the petrous portion of the temporal bone, passing to the tympanic cavity, and divided into one canal for the auditory tube and into another canal for the tensor muscle of the tympanic membrane.
