myeloid metaplasia

myeloid metaplasia n.
A syndrome characterized by anemia, enlargement of the spleen, and the presence of nucleated red blood cells and immature granulocytes in the blood, and accompanied by extramedullary hematopoiesis in the spleen and liver.
