Naáboth /'nä-"bot/, Martin (1675–1721), German anatomist and physician. Naboth describedthe mucous glands of the uterine cervix in 1707. At the same time he noted small cysts in these glands caused by blockage of the outflow of the secretion but he thought that they were ova.
