Network A

The reporting service of the consolidated tape that includes price and volume data for trades on the New York Stock Exchange and on regional exchanges and the over-the-counter market in NYSE-listed stock. The service is carried in brokerage offices, on cable television, and by the reporting exchanges. Also called A-network.
