occipitotransverse position oc·cip·i·to·trans·verse position (ŏk-sĭp'ĭ-tō-trāns-vûrs', -trānz-, -trāns'vûrs', -trānz'-)
A cephalic presentation of the fetus in which the occiput is turned toward either the right or left iliac fossa of the mother's pelvis.
