O*don`to*tor"mae\, n.pl. [NL., fr. 'odoy`s, 'odo`ntos, a tooth + ? a socket.] (Paleon.) An order of extinct toothed birds having the teeth in sockets, as in the genus Ichthyornis. See Ichthyornis.
