Ophiophagus

O`phi*oph"a*gus\, n. [NL. See Ophiophagous.] (Zo["o]l.) A genus of venomous East Indian snakes, which feed on other snakes. Ophiophagus elaps is said to be the largest and most deadly of poisonous snakes.
