pallidoansotomy pal·li·do·an·sot·o·my (pāl'ĭ-dō-ān-sŏt'ə-mē)
The production of lesions in the globus pallidus and the lenticular ansa, usually by stereotaxy, in order to stop involuntary movements or to relieve muscular rigidity.
