a large astronomical object, some 2000 km in diameter, discovered in 1991. Its elliptical orbit around the earth, between the orbits of Neptune and Saturn, has a period of 93 years. It has been classified as an asteroid although it lies outside the main asteroid belt

On his wanderings in search of this adventure he came to the dwelling of Pholus, the son of Silenus.

When Hercules from the pursuit of the other Centaurs returned to the dwelling of Pholus he found him also dead.
