Pinocchio, The Adventures of definition

(1883) A children's story of the nineteenth century by the Italian author Carlo Collodi. Pinocchio is a puppet who is brought to life by a fairy and learns moral lessons through his adventures. For example, Pinocchio's nose grows longer whenever he tells a lie.
