Platonic or platonic

A descriptive term for things associated with Plato (for example, Platonic Forms or Ideas). In general usage, platonic means lofty or pure, or associated with the higher thinking capacities of people.

Note: A “platonic” love or a “platonic” relationship is one in which people have mental or spiritual exchanges only and refrain from physical intimacy.
