Plat`y*rhi"ni\, n. pl. [NL., fr. Gr. ? broad + ?, ?, nose.] (Zo["o]l.) A division of monkeys, including the American species, which have a broad nasal septum, thirty-six teeth, and usually a prehensile tail. See Monkey. [Written also Platyrrhini.]
