A broad fibrous band attached above to the lateral condyle of the femur and passing medially and downward in the posterior part of the capsule of the knee joint; arcuate popliteal ligament.
A fibrous band that extends across the back of the knee from the insertion of the semimembranosus on the medial condyle of the tibia to the lateral condyle of the femur; oblique popliteal ligament; slanting popliteal ligament.
