Poulp\, Poulpe \Poulpe\, n. [F. poulpe, fr. L. polypus. See Polyp.] (Zo["o]l.) Same as Octopus.

Musk poulp (Zo["o]l.), a Mediterranean octopod (Eledone moschata) which emits a strong odor of musk.
