Prinzmetal, Myron(1908–1987), American cardiologist. Prinzmetal served for many years as attending physician at Los Angeles's Cedars of Lebanon Hospital and as professor of clinical medicine at theUniversity of California, Los Angeles. He published monographs on auricular arrhythmias and related cardiac conditions. He published his first description of Prinzmetal's angina in 1955 with R. A.Massumi as coauthor.
