pseudopterygium pseu·do·pte·ryg·i·um (s&oomacr;'dō-tə-rĭj'ē-əm) n. A pterygium of irregular shape that may appear at any part of the corneal margin of the eye and that occurs following diphtheria, a burn, or other injury of the conjunctiva.
