pyloromyotomy py·lo·ro·my·ot·o·my (pī-lôr'ō-mī-ŏt'ə-mē)
Longitudinal incision through the anterior wall of the pyloric canal to the level of the submucosa, performed as a treatment for hypertrophic pyloric stenosis. Also called Fredet-Ramstedt operation, Ramstedt operation.
