Queckenstedt-Stookey test Queck·en·stedt-Stookey test (kwěk'ən-stěd'-, kvěk'ən-shtět'-)
A test to detect the blockage of subarachnoid channels in which the jugular vein is compressed; when there is blockage of the channels, compression causes little or no increase in the pressure of the spinal fluid.
