Reduvid

Red"u*vid\ (r?d"?*v?d), n. [L. reduvia a hangnail.] (Zo["o]l.) Any hemipterous insect of the genus Redivius, or family Reduvid[ae]. They live by sucking the blood of other insects, and some species also attack man.
