Martin Emil (1887–1964), Americanphysician. Rehfuss specialized in gastroenterology, and especially in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the stomach. Indigestion and practical therapeutics were two topics of particularinterest. In 1914 he devised a method of removing portions of a standard test meal from the stomach at certain intervals by using a flexible tube.
