Sagittarius 
constellation, 1390, from L., lit. "archer," prop. "pertaining to arrows," from sagitta "arrow," which probably is from a pre-Latin Mediterranean language. Meaning "person born under Sagittarius" (prop. Sagittarian) is attested from 1940.
