Saint-Exupéry, Antoine de [(san-teg-zoo-pay-ree)]

A twentieth-century French writer and aviator. He chronicled his pioneering early years in commercial aviation in volumes such as Wind, Sand, and Stars. His best-known work is probably the metaphorical fairy tale The Little Prince.
