salmeterol xinafoate sal·me·ter·ol xi·naf·o·ate (sāl-mē'tə-rôl' zĭ-nāf'ō-āt')
An inhalant drug used in the treatment of asthma and having physiological activity similar to albuterol but longer lasting and more effective in preventing subsequent attacks.
