Seamounts is always a great word to know.
So is callithumpian. Does it mean:
a children's mummer's parade, as on the Fourth of July, with prizes for the best costumes.
a fool or simpleton; ninny.

A large underwater mountain, usually conical in shape and at least 1,000 m (3,280 ft) above the ocean floor. Seamounts are usually isolated and are volcanic in origin.
