Siphonium

Si*pho"ni*um\, n.; pl. Siphonia. [NL., from Gr. ????, dim. of ????. See Siphon.] (Anat.) A bony tube which, in some birds, connects the tympanium with the air chambers of the articular piece of the mandible.
