torulopsosis tor·u·lop·so·sis (tôr'yə-lŏp-sō'sĭs) n. An opportunistic infection in humans caused by the yeast Torulopsis glabrata and usually seen in patients treated with antibiotics, corticosteroids, or immunosuppressive agents.
