These rootlets are very strong, as you will find if you try to pull, as I did once, a trumpet-creeper out of a grape-vine.
That's partly because of its cloaks and muffs and boas of trumpet-creeper and ivy.
The coral-honeysuckle and a species of trumpet-creeper also grow here, and, in a little time, will be in full flower.
