Tu`bi*na"res\, n. pl. [NL., fr. L. tubus tube + nares the nostrils.] (Zo["o]l.) A tribe of sea birds comprising the petrels, shearwaters, albatrosses, hagdons, and allied birds having tubular horny nostrils.
