Medical Dictionary

two-step exercise test n.
A test for coronary insufficiency in which an individual ascends and descends two, nine-inch high steps while an electrocardiograph records cardiac activity during the exercise and at intervals afterwards. Also called Master's test, Master's two-step exercise test.
