Vernet's syndrome Ver·net's syndrome (věr-nāz')
n.
A syndrome characterized by paralysis of the glossopharyngeal, vagus, and accessory cranial nerves, causing paralysis of the soft palate, fauces, pharynx, and vocal cords, most commonly as result of a head injury.
