vertebrochondral ver·te·bro·chon·dral (vûr'tə-brō-kŏn'drəl)
Of or relating to the three false ribs, designated eighth, ninth, and tenth, that are connected with the vertebrae at one extremity and with the costal cartilages at the other and do not articulate directly with the sternum.
