vesiculotympanitic resonance ve·sic·u·lo·tym·pa·nit·ic resonance (vě-sĭk'yə-lō-tĭm'pə-nĭt'ĭk)
A sound, partly tympanitic, partly vesicular, obtained by percussing the lung cavity of an individual with pulmonary emphysema.
