Victorville

At Victorville, a growing town at the north base of the range, the desert had almost disappeared.

The next morning we were up at four-thirty and off at six-forty-five, arriving at Victorville at eight-thirty.

One auto passed us going into Hesperia and we met one auto going out of Victorville.
