Wa`ter*land"er\, Waterlandian \Wa`ter*land"i*an\n. (Eccl. Hist.) One of a body of Dutch Anabaptists who separated from the Mennonites in the sixteenth century; -- so called from a district in North Holland denominated Waterland.
