The Education of Henry Adams definition

The autobiography of a member of the Adams family of New England (see John Adams and John Quincy Adams). Adams mingles a partial story of his life with an indictment of his education and reflections on the fundamental ideas of modern times and of the Middle Ages.

Note: The autobiography was privately published in 1907 and later published in 1918, after Adams's death.
